Even the strongest person reach their limit when something happens to cause them to have to restart their lives from scratch. They must make the choice to just give up or pick themselves up and start traveling Life's journey again. I lam in such a situation. Five times one thing or another has cost me everything. It seems that every 11 to 13 years I have had to start from scratch. it has happened again.. I have that choice now. At the age of 66 I have again lost everything. How is not important to this post. What is important is the fact I have that choice to make.

The last post talks of a Lady that has come to mean the world to me. Or maybe I should say everything to me. It is sad that she is still in the situation she was in 6 months ago. But she is scratching and clawing for her freedom. She is close. But things have happened that he has cause that has caused delays in her plans to be free. And there is one thing that has not changed nor will it. I am there for her if she has need of me.

Since sharing these things with me, she continues to do so, she and I have become much much closer. She is in the process of trying to get rid of the guy I now call Toilet Paper. The reason I call him that is he is like toilet paper glued to her ass. He tries his best to never let her out of his sight. He is very aware of her and my friendship. He is also very aware, for I have made him aware that as she tries to free herself from him that if he hurts her again there will be hell to pay & I'm going to be Hell. It is not an easy situation for her to free herself from. He has her bound to him in ways that she and I are slowly releasing her from and it is not cut & dry. We will succeed though.

Thruout my adult life, most, maybe 65 to 75% of my friends have been female. I just get along with them better. For years I have been called Dad by very many of my female friends because I am a good listener and I kept to myself what they would come talk to me about. My wife was called Mom because she worried over everyone she loved. She was also called Mother Hen. This is what she and I had been called for years by our people. Mom and Dad. My female friends almost instiinctvily knew they could trust me and therefore were able to confide in me safely knowing I would keep silent about what they had need to talk about. And I have never ever betrayed any of them.

As she started talking of the abuse she has lived thru I was at first surprised, then stunned and finally angry. Very angry. She must have been able to see the emotions I struggled to keep from her for she would touch my hand and say it's ok, meaning she understood my reaction and I would answer "No it is not ok." meaning that no one should have to live in such a way. She said it didn't happen often and I angerily replied that it should not happen at all, period. It was all I could do not to confront the asshole. She asked me not to. I did as she asked and did not like not doing so. But she needed someone she could trust and talk to. The someone she chose was me.

As we first became friends I had no idea that she was being abused. We had started just talking small talk but before to long she started talking of more serious things. Things about her life. It started out as pleasent things though I now know there were not a whole lot of those nor have there been. As she talked, I would listen carefully and shudder on the inside wondering how this could happen to such a wonderful Lady, and I use the term Lady in the Formal, Respectful form of the word for she deserves it and has earned it by living the life she has and still being the incredible woman she is. I was surprised when she started talking of these things.

She knew exactly why I had asked that question. I was not interested in a sister. I was interested in her, M' Lady Nicole. By my asking that question, a friendship started. One that grew quickly. I had not known of all she had been going thru when I uttered those words & our frendship began. The friendship started quickly & we grew close even quicker. I found her enchanting & so very easy to talk with. That surprised me in that I had always been unable to talk so easily with attractive women. But she made it easy to talk with her & I am thankful for that. It enabled us to talk of important things later & not just small talk. Very important things. Things that made me very angry.

She walked out alone this time. I had not spoken to her et except hi's and byes as they came and went. The increidably stupid gut who she was with was still talking to my roommate so she was by herself for the first time and when she walked past se smiled at me and said hi. I almost froze but was able blurt out, "Do you by chance have a sister just like you?" She smiled that beautifl smile and said"No, I'm sorry I don't have a sister." All I said was "Damn." Se laughed, smiled at me again. And as she turned and walked away, her eyes were telling me that she knew the reason for that question and that the reason was I was interested in her. Not a sister.

She walked into my life about 10 months ago. She was very attractive, she was very slim and she was very sexy. There isn't a man that wouldn't follow her with his eyes if she would walk past. She was also very friendly and outgoing and had a smile that just held your attention. Her voice was like music. And the amazing thing is she did not really seem to realize the effect she had on the males around her. She was not, is not like a lot of very attractive women. No ego nor is she vain in any way. But she does capture a man's attention. She did mine for sure. And she still has it.

I met her when she and the ...can't feel comfortable using the word man because real men do not mistreat their women...man came to visit my roommate. From the moment I saw her I knew I wanted to meet her. So the forth, fifth or maybe the sixth time they came by I was out on the carport and she walked out by herself. Now I am not good meeting and talking to such good looking women that I am interested in as more than just friends and I had been trying to think of a way to make conversation so as to meet her fully as I had yet to even talk to her. So as she walked out I blurted out the first thing that came to mind and felt a little dumb.

Finally, as I lay here there is something I have learned by this or should I say relearned. I learned when my wife died so young that you do not wait to do the things in life you want to do. You may find you didn't have time like my wife & I. I fell back into that. This fire has reminded me that I just may not have time. I wilI start doing what I have always wanted to do. I may not have a tomorrow. I never intended to become a Krispy Kritter. But I did. I did not like it. I hope it will never happen to me again. It was NOT on my bucket list nor will I add it now. I will say this, if you are handling flamable liquid, remember it only takes 1 small static spark to ignite a fire. It happes fast and it can kill. Never forget that. I never will.

As the pain of my burns tear through my body I lay here and think back at what happened. How fast it occured. How little I could do to stop it. How fate allowed me to live. Of how worse it could have been. Of how I could have joined my wife. I wonder if Bad luck gave me a break by letting me live or if it is it's intention to come back and finish the job it started. To show the effect this has had on me, I fully expect it to be the latter and it will return to finish a job not complete. I am sorry but I can not get that thought out of my mind and brain and I must get it out. But how???To Be Continued...

As I lay here in pain I wonder when the next strike of bad luck will come. I have no doubt it will. I am trying hard to remain the optimist I have always been, I have already started to shy back away from things normal and I have had fear enter my life now on a daily basis and I MUST get that under control or it will stay with me until I die and I can not allow that. That is not me and I can not allow it to become me. I can not allow fire to change that man I have always been. That is not an option, I must Endeavor to Persevere always and stay the man I have always been...To Be Continued...

As I leave the Hospital, I am given a regiment of exercises that I am to do 2 times a day. This is very important to keep the skin from tightening up which would restrict my field of motion for the rest of my life if allowed. These cause terrible pain as I do them but I do them. There is much to lose if I don't. Dressings are redone 2 times a day and is a very painful ordeal in and of itself but must be done to keep infection away. I have a couple of months of severe pain but it will start to receed. I ask when, there is no answer only that it will. I am to stay out of the sun and down as much as possible for a few weeks before moving around again much. I have months of work and healing to do...To Be Continued...

I am burned with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 20% of my body, they keep me out with moriphine for 80% of the time in the hospital. They decide no skin grafts are needed. I look halfway like a mummy as I go home. The pain is barely controled by 325mg oxycotton pain meds. I am living with bad pain now 24/7. No infection as of yet. The burns are healing but it will be a long while before life will ever become normal if it ever does again...To Be Continued.........

The wind blows liquid fire towards me as I turn and stand to see what the Whoosh sound was, I am engulfed in fire, I remember to drop and roll while screaming "Oh god no" over & over & over, the fire finally goes out, I receive 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my back, left side and shoulder, left arm & right leg, I am in the hospital for 3 days where I am kept out for 80% of that time. The pain is unlike anything I have ever felt or had to deal with before except when damaging my spinal cord at the C5 C6 vertabra...To Be Continued...

It seems that bad luck has found a home in my life since my wife passed almost 14 yrs ago. The last 3 years has been terribly bad. My last post brought us to 3 weeks ago when it struck once again & again it involved fire. When my home burnt down I lost everyhing. When it struck this time I almost lost my life. A friend pouring gas into my boat, a static spark, fumes ignite in a whoosh sound, I'm 20' away laying stone, the strong wind catches and blows liquid fire towards me, as I turn to look and stand I am engulfed

There comes a time in Life when you stop & say Why? WHY!!! WTFF...Why does bad luck follow me everywhere. 3 years ago my home burnt down. 3 months later my woman betrays me with another man. 9 months later my daughter & grandkids tears up my new home & I am still repairing it. 8 months later I fight eviction by the hag Park Owner for no reason. 10 months later my jeep goes down & cost me my left nut to repair. 3 months after that my Harley goes down & costs me my right nut...That brings us to 3 weeks ago when bad luck occures once again...To Be Continued......

I saw this woman the other day...Damn did she have some nice perky Mounds...And that Almond Joy ass looked mighty fine too....So I told her so...She smacked me and chased me out of the Convent...I guess she didn't take it for the compliment I had meant it to be...Kept sayig You sinner and You will burn for your insult.... or some type shit...Sheesh

He stopped his walk and sat down in the wet sand and thought back over the last threes years. How the year of the fire his daughter and grandkids had attempted to move down to FL. How the new home had been completely tore up and the disrespect shown him in his own home. Of a terrible fight in which he had had to throw his daughter out and they returned to IN but the damage was done. To the home and to their relationship. One that would never turn around and the other he was still repairing. How could that have happened. He still could not figure it out. But it damned well did. And tears came to his eyes, rolled down his cheeks.

Then that unhappy smile disappears as he thinks of those who seem to always get kicked in the teeth by bad luck. Those who you hear people say about them,"Poor guy, he has nothing but bad luck." Or, Just once I would like to see something good happen to that poor soul. He just can't seem to win for losing. Damn." Or "Will his luck ever change." Or, "I just can't believe his bad luck." As the man turns and walks up the beach again he says to himself, Yes, luck is out there all right. And his seems to be of the latter. All bad.

He smiles a unhappy smile as another wave rolls over his feet and thinks, then you have those people who seem to have no luck at all. People who go thru life and luck never herders or helps their travel thru life. Who seem to be unaware that luck exists at all. They don't worry about it because they are never have felt the joy of good luck or the crushing defeat of bad luck. They pay luck no heed at all. Luck pays them no attention at all. None, Nil, Nadda, Zilch.

As he stops and again looks out to sea he wonders why it is that some have good luck almost all of the time. He thinks, Nobody can tell me that that is not true. Everyone can think of someone they know that seems to get everything easily. Whole sayings in themselves show it to be true. "How can that guy always be so lucky." "He has all the luck." Or "That lucky SOB. Amazing." Yes, there are people like that.

Then he thinks of those who say that you make your own luck. Good or bad, you make your own luck. He says to himself that that is no necessarily true either. Some times we do. But not most of the time. Who ever heard of someone chosing bad luck over good. Noone. It just doesn't happen. And it is not a random thing either. Yes there are times you can control it. But not often.

Waves washes over his feet as he turns and again walks the beach thinking that every one who had ever told him that there was no such thig as luck must be blind. If you look closely you can see luck everywhere. That guy over thas no luck that one has good luck and that one over there has nothing but bad luck. You can see it. Ohhhh, there is luck out there all right.

Maybe he could be excused for his lack of attention. So much had happened in the three short years since he lost his best friends in the house fire. He had said to himself, look forward. The past is just that. The past. But that is a hard thing to do when the future becomes the present and it to is full of pain and luck that cripples optimism. Cripples the one thing that always made you stand back up and look forward again. Instead of charging forward you find yourself starting to hesitate at every corner. You know this isn't good but can't stop. So he looks out to sea seeking an answer to this problem. He is yet to find his answer. And his shoulders drop in anguish.

And they may do so morre than once. And you think to yourself, "How did I let that happen again? As I said last post, a certain amount of trust is needed to live. If they smell trust, they are like Hyeinas. They stalk you waiting for a chance to hoodwink you. If they do, you have a problem. I've relearned that again 3 times this year. Only thing I can do is keep a sharper eye out for Hyeinas. withdrawing more is not an option. Something I, myself, would do well to remember also as well. Truth

I have been asked quite often where I come you with some of my writings on life and the human condition. Love, Gentleman of the old school, all of the like and people skills I have talked about since my first post a few years ago. Mainly my parents and what they taught me as I grew up. And my experiences with people in my life. And I am here to tell you, no matter how well you learn these lessons. How well you prepare, you still have to put a certin amount of trust in people or you can't deal with them and you die. Having to do so though, opens you up to the people who take you, lie to you, use you, bring heartache. Then someone does it again.

Seems to me that Web Bot is also predicting the End Of Times. Just as so many others. Nostradas. St Peter. The Oracle. The Mages and Druids. The Mayans. The Old English Seers of the Middle Ages. The Old Testement Prophets. Edgar Casey. All of these and more has predicted. The End of Times. Most predicted, almost all, upheavel like we have never known. But most, just as Web Bot has, talk of a wonderous world there will be afterwards. i don't believe I will be alive to see it all. Maybe. But my kids and grandkids will. I lay odds on it. If Web Bot is correct and the amazing word of the discoveries are true, we will soon be living in what will be known as The Si-Fi World. You may think I have lost my mind or am mistaken or read it in a dream. I assure i have not. Huge Paramyds 3 to 4 times the size of Egypt's, large chambers of warm air filled chambers you can put skyscrappers in. Many more things. Two Popes have visited as has President Obummer. the most important world leaders. Have you wondered about Aliens? You are about to find out. Web Bot and the Antartica. Google it.

Have you heard of the Web Bot? It is software invented and written in the late 1900's to predict the financial markets. From the very first time it was run it showed it could predict so much more with a high degree accuracy. Have you yet heard of the amazng and fantastic discoveries in the Antartic at the bottom of the world. If not it's not surprising since word is just starting to get out. They have been known by just a few for 20 years. Search the web...Web Bot and Antartica. If right, big, big changes are coming. For good or bad. They call it theWhoo Whoo Effect. Truth.
.. Check it out. Amazing. It will change how we think and look at ourselves.

Since doing it all means something to you and knowing that you may not be a Mechanic Craftsman in all aspects of the work, you do know that you are pretty damned good and the completed work will look damned good as well. So I would choose #2 and fix the subpar work right then. Hard thing for me to say being the great procrastinator I am. My Grandpa said "If you do it, do it right." He also said,"It only cost a bit more to go 1st class. So go 1st class to start with." My answer is #2. Only choice I can make and stay true to myself. Good day everyone.

I continue on with my reasoning. If you choose option 5, then you fail in your goal of doing the work yourself. While there is nothing wrong with this option really at first glance, it fails to complete your objective of doing all the work yourself. If that doesn' mean all that much to you, then that would be a good desision to make. But if it does, then it is not acceptable....(I shall continue in next post)...

Ok. Here is how I reason this out. If you choose 1, then you risk having to mess up other work completed to fix the subpar work. Not acceptable. Choose 3, you show no pride in your work or yourself. Not acceptable. Choose 4 and you show you haven't got what it takes and you are a quiter and quiters never win....Not at all acceptable....(to be continued in next post)

Ok, there is a fifth option for your not to standard work and it is... 5. Knowing you are not skilled in this work, you hire someone who is and let them correct it. Add #5 to the list. Think on it as you do the other 4 solutions then choose. I will give you a few more minutes to decide. Remember that you decided to do all of the work yourself and are proud and confident it will look good for someone who is not skilled in all aspects of the work being done.

You busy yourself with the thing at hand. You are confident that what you are doing wil turn out as planned. You finish. You turn back to inspect your work only to find that the work is not up
to your standards. You have much to do before the job is done and you want it done. So you have 4 choices. 1. Leave it as is. 2. Leave it unti the rest of the work is done then go back and fix it. 3. Fix it then and fall further behind. 4. Say fuck it and walk away....What would you
do???? Choose one...1? 2? 3? or 4? As you decide think of each answer, what it means. i'll give you a few minutes.

If you say you can't then it is a 99% chance you won't. That is the road to failure. On the other hand if you are positive and say I will try my best, in most cases you will. If you don't, try again. At least you did your best and didn't give up before you even started. To do that is the mark of a loser and losers never win.

One week ago yesterday an event happened that made my life better than it has been in quite some time. She flew into St Pete and back into my life after 10 years. Though we had remained friends and still loved each other we had not seen each other. Just talked on Facebook and the phone. We both went through much. Much of it bad. Not anymore. I am quite happy she is here. She is very happy to be here. We are both ready for our new life together, happy to be in each others arms again. Life is good again for us both. The future bright. I love her just as she loves me. Yes, life is again good for the both of us. It is about time. Truth

He had heard people say many times, Never say never. He had never put much thought to it. He had never had reason to. He did now. After his wife passed 12 yrs ago he had been in a relations with a girl his wife had hoped they would be in. After a yr or so the relation ended tho they remained very good friends. During the next 10 yrs they both had very bad luck with relationships. Both were hurt repeatedly. Both ready to stay single. Still being very good friends, both again alone, they discussed possibilities. She had been waiting for the chance again for a long time. He came to see that he wanted this as well. Finally it was decided. She arrives tomorrow eve.

Life has presented me an opportunity that was unforseen until lately. I have a long history with it. It is something that has been there for years but unthough of because of preconceptions that have turned out to be false. As it has reintroduced it self in our lives we find that though unsure of this rediscovery to start off with, excitement builds as it is being embraced. Yes Life has many lessons. Some must be relearned as we are relearning now. Change can be good, as we learning now. And you must be wlling to embrace it, as we are doing now. It is surprising what you can see if you will only open your eyes and heart to what lies in the shadows. And we are.

You must understand that life teaches many many lessons. Some may be as clear as the nose on your face when Life presents it to you. Others though may take a bit of time and be obscure until added to another before the lesson becomes clear. Once it does you will say Ahhhh, now I understand. At times you may think Life has it in for you only to find that Life actually had something better in store for you. Be patient. Be positive. The door that closes may be to your benefit. The one that opens could be the one that makes your life as happy and the best it has ever been. It is a lesson that I am lucky to be learning for Life helped me dodge a bullet...TRUTH

It is the person who understands that life has lessons to learn thru out their lives that becomes wise in the ways of life. It s the fool that thinks the he has learned all the life has to teach. It is said that the wise will inherit the Kingdom Of The Lord. The fool will inherit nothing. The wise knows they learn until death. The fool never learns life greatest lesson. And that is, Those who do not open their minds to life's continuous lessons will always be the Fool. This may be sad, but it is also TRUTH

In the last few years, the curve balls life has thrown at me has presented changes that I have had little control of. I have rode them out best I could and still keep my head above water and survive. It has been a rough Two and a half years in all aspects of my life. With the keeping of my home, I now intend to make the changes that come to curve my way. To my benifit. To break the pattern that has become the norm. I will need help doing this and I intend to have it. The changes will become for the better and it's about time that it does so. Truth.

The old saying tends to ring true in this life. When one door closes, don't despair for usually another will open and present itself. Sometimes one opens that leads to an unexpected destination. And you know before you even decide to go that way, that you are already in the process of doing just that. It almost seems that every where you go, every move you make seems to be pulling you that way. Yes Change it comes soon. Prepare for it. Be ready for it. Enjoy the ride. Live it, love it and let it take you where it will. i am going to when it comes. I plan on it coming. It will happen and I won't be alone when I hitch a ride as it arrives. Truth.

I find that life has a tendency to throw curve balls when you may be expecting change up's. Your thinking starts to follow that curve and different paths present themselves that though risks are involed, you find those risks are not such that you dismiss that path out of hand. You consider them. you weigh them againest the positives, the benefits and decide your best options. Life is made up of risks. Do you face them and move forward or avoide them and stagnate. I have almost always faced them. And will do so again soon. Change can be good when you have the right people with you. Change is coming soon. And I will embrace it completely.

As my ship called Trust slowly sinks to the bottom of the sea, I tread water frantically. I have been tossed about in a ocean of lies and no one can hear my painful cries. You see my ship was equiped for trust, not betrayal. She took two very long years to build but only moments to fail. In my never ending sea of pain the truth just drags me down. And betrayal's weight's to much to bare, so I very slowly drown.

Remembering...Twelve years ago on a cold Fall day, I lost a Lover and Friend. Though I thought differently, God wanted her life to end. Yes I miss her dearly and it hurts that she is not around. But I know something special, she is in Heaven looking down. So I don't wallow in my grief although I allow myself to cry. I don't morn for her to long for she, sends her love to me from above the sky.... I love and miss you Sherry, my dear wife, and will always remember our joy in each other and our life together. I long to see and be with you and will when the Good Lord calls.

What is life? As I sleep I dream of better days that have occurred, the Raven sitting, watching still, not a feather has he stirred. Life asked Death, why do they love me but hate you? He replied You are a lie & they all fear the truth. He kept his eye on me still not a feather stirred. I looked at him & wondered was it true what I had heard. The Raven turned and he looked me in the eye, he said I am forever true and life is but one huge lie...Truth???

It doesn'tmake sense to continue to lay yourself bare for love. To do so in this day & age is just asking to be used & walked on. I see it happen to others just as I also have experienced it over & over in the last 6 years. I have come to believe that most people either don't believe in love any more or they have no Idea as to what it actually is. The rate of break ups proves that. I have felt that sting & hurt to often lately & have just again to put myself out there again. I have a lot of love to give. But I'll give it to my dogs. They are loyal & give unquestioned love. Humans, the ones I've been with the last few years suck. I'm tired of lies and drama. No more.

I would like to revisit a visit that I visited a while back. That visit was actually a revisit of a revisited visit to a revisited revisit visit. So as not to be confused it was actually a revisit to a visit revisit to a revisit visit revisited revisited visit revisited visit. But you know? Yah I didn't think so so I'll tell you. I visited a revist that was visited when visited a while back. And I'll be damned if on this last revisit to the revisited visit I was half way there thinking about this revisit visit when I realized I didn't remember what I had visited so called off my revisit visit and revisited my ass back home...TRUTH

It is the trusting of one in the other and is done in both...The melding of two hearts into one that may always be more important than when they were separate...It is the joining of two souls as they become one in each other...It is the thoughts of two people for which the other is always more important than themselves...It is a feeling of the highest of highs when too each other they obey the main principals that allows it to flourish, trust, honesty, communication and respect. It is a thing called LOVE...When right there is nothing sweeter...When wrong it is a heartbreaker...TRUTH

At the end of the day, I am a good man. I am not perfect by any means. But my intentions are good, my heart is pure and I have much love to give to the right woman who wants it and will return it. Sometimes in life you see things that you will believe are real. They look real. They feel real. You even want them to be real. Twelve years ago today, an event occured that forever changed the direction that my life was to go. Everything that had been thought out, planned and provided for so that it would happen became like so much dust in the wind. Everything became as worthless as the paper it was written on. I had had only five weeks to prepare for this event but a lifetime would not have been long enough. It was impossible. It can not be done in ten lifetimes. For you see? I was in the process of taking care of a very special woman and helping her as cancer slowly took her life. She was my wife, Sharon Lynn Sims. She lost her battle with this terrible disease 12 years ago today. Her passing set me adrift on the sea of life. It seems that I still drift 12 years later...

As you wittness something extreme happen to someone you care deeply for it also has a deep affect on you. As you try your best, do your utmost to help them and see those efforts fail, it takes hold of you also. And when you finally see that those more and better equipted to give the help must be called in, it is a with a heavy heart and just a touch of feelin failure of being able to help yourself, that you call in that help. To see that she got the help she so needs, I had to do that last nite. She will have a long recovery for fixing the mind is not easy. I pray for her and will be here for her when she returns to normal life. Get Well Soon Hon. I cry for her and pray.

My friend and I have been working to restore her health and to help her get back on her feet so that she can live a good secure life. Little did I or even she herself know that she had deeper problems that were not caused by herself but by a person she loved deeply, who she trusted with her deepest secrets VB only to be betrayed and those secrets exposed on the net for all to know. It is a betrayal of the most insidious kind. It has caused a mental and emotional crisis be and meltdown that I have had to act on and get her help. I ask for prayers for her. She needs them greatly as she tries to recover herself and her Life. Thank you.

You care greatly for your close friends. And they for you. You have fun with them. There is a deep trust, a deep bond, a deep love, a deep concern for them. You will make sacifices for them, help them and take care of them if necessary. Help them restore their lives. And when something happens to them it affects you deeply as well. I have been trying to help a dear friend get her health back, to get back on her feet. When we started, I did not know there was other things we would need to work on first. I have since found this out and it has been a hard pill to swallow. It has now come full circle and she and I need your prayers in this work.

I don't really know when it began. i know it happened some before Sherry passed but did not take such a greater part of my life like it has since My Love passed. I have stood with, helped so many. As many as I could and can. i am doing so again. She is as dear as a daughter and she is suffering so. Both physically and emotionally and now I also fear mentally. this last has been done to her. And I am struggling with how to help her with what is not her fault. My God please give me strenght and guidance. I sorely need both to help her.

I am a pretty easy going guy. In the past I have helped numerous people who have very much needed help. And have tried to help some that though they needed it they could not get their head out of their ass long enough to get the help I offered. Such is the case now. So since it is not important enough to her to keep her end of the agreement, the deal is withdrawn and she is on her own. I hate dumb shit and that is what it is. I am done as of right now. AND I am getting to the point of not offering anyone any more help. I have enough problems of my own. I will just concentrate on my own problems now. Fuck it.

He wonders why it is that since she doesn't and didn't want him, lied to and stole from him and then kick him to the curb and threw him to the wolves and so enjoyed his hurt and pain, why is she still interfering in his life. Asks him to take her and her stolen belongings south. Why does she friend people he does if not to interfer in his life and keep twisting the knife she stabed him with. She must not be happy with what she has done to him so she needs to do more? Is she that low in the gene pool that she enjoys the pain she causes. Evidently. He turned and walked the beach again. He saw and heard nothing as his thoughts kept him in a kind of daze. She had stolen from him and she had lied a most foul, cold series of lies. How she loved him. Was In love. Made all sorts of plans knowing she would not keep them. All part of the game she played to take him for what she could. He knew now she had also been unfaithful. He shook his head knowing that it just fit the pattern and the game she was so expert at. Had been all along. Blind. He had been so blind. And without a single word to him she turns, walks away and she joins her new man. Cold. So very, very cold. Then trys to take him again.

He had been asked how was she a thief. He had replied that everything he had given her, money, bed computer, car, just to name a few she had taken under false pretences. He sat with his head in his hands & felt the dispair that poured from his heart. His defenses were now up but not quick enough to have not received great damage to his mind & Spirit. There was little Trust left in him. The Harpy had fed on him untl there was almost nothing left of what had made him the man he had been. And still the Harpy flew above him looking for an opening so as to finish her feeding and totally destroy him. But he had hardened his heart and his being and she could no longer feed on him. But in so doing, he had also removed himself from the good women who could give him what he so desired. Love, Happiness and companionship for life. It IS the tragic truth & result of the Harpy's betrayal.

And finally I thought of the 3rd path and of what I had been told. And I realized that wisdom would allow me to see everything about a thing and thus KNOW I chose rightly. Wisdom would allow me to recognize the knowledge that led the way to happiness. I realized that without Wisdom, There was great chance of unhappiness. Therefore, I turned to the right and started foreward, the old wizard, smiled, stepped back and said, "Welcome to the best choice possible of the three for this path DOES lead to happiness without doubt. Always chose WISDOM..Please enter...And I entered... And found Happiness...TRUTH

I stepped back and thought of all I had been told. I thought of the 1st path and all of the wonderful things it contained and was tempted again but though that there were also bad things that could destroy happiness. I thought of the 2nd path and thought of all of the good knowledge could bring and was tempted again but thought that bad knowledge could also destroy all that was good if not used right.

Of a sudden I found myself on a path. As I looked around I some how knew it to be the Path Of Life. In front of me was a fork that led in 3 different directions. And I knew that what path I chose would define what my life would then be. I knew I must chose carefully for once chosen and the journey started it would be very difficult to change should I find that I had chosen wrong. I knew that I must take and consider all angles presented. I approached the path that led left and as I did a wizard came forward and he was named..."Wants & Desires That Bring Happiness" . We wake up in the morn & thank God for another day. We think of the things we must do, what we must say. we walk out our doors full of cheer & hope that we will have a day in which we can cope. But do we think about other things we should consider..maybe to help others so they do not become bitter. For each day is not just about us. It is also about those in need & to help them we must. What has happened to me. What has happened to the man who was always opimistic. Always could see the bright side of any situation. Where has my light gone. I sit and as tears roll down my cheeks I wonder at everything that has happened to me in the last 14 months. How it has little by little tore down my defenses, my spirit, my hope, my dreams. My loss this weekend seems to have taken me away from me. For even tho we had our problems, she was my hope. She kept me fighting. And now even she is gone. Lord have mercy on the widows son. Depression...It has almost overwhelmed me in the last 18 hours. To be completely honest about it, it has had ahold of my life for over a year. Ever since my home burnt to the ground it has been one thing after another. I'm not sure how much more I can take before I just say fuck everything and walk away and never look or come back to anything. Just say nothing is worth anything anymore. Not even life. I lose everything I value so fuck it. And I hurt. My spirit, my heart, my soul. Nothing matters anymore.

We saw each other everyday for a few minutes. I had started looking forward to it. Today I had decided to smile at her. She was on the uptown while I was on the downtown...bus. When we arrived I smiled a happy smile. she held up a sign that read Kiss My Ass and flipped me the bird...pissed me off. Next day when we arrived I held up a sign that read Where should I start? it is late at night. he can't sleep. for a complete year now it has been one thing after another. it will not stop or even slow down and allow him to rest. even now he feels it eat at what little defense he has left. you feel very tired but he knows that if you need rest if he doesn't stay alert , he will lose his fight with depression. and that he cannot allow. for that road lead to death. so he stays vigilant and sinks deeper and deeper into a weariness that threaten him as much as the depression he fights but what else can he do? there is no other option.

There is a lot to be said for turning and walking away for a short time to take care of the needs of the Me. To rest, not think of the things that wore you down to begin with. To just vegitate. To relax completely and not look at anything outside of yourself. I has been a long time since I took Me time. I took this weekend and may take tomorrow as well. I haven't slept alot but feel rested. Relaxed. Mind clear not befuddled. As I knew it would and it always does. my outlook is much better and I again the optimist. And as long as I'm alive, I intend for it to alwys be that way. I have retuned. Thank you to all of those who spoke out with encourgement and support. Thanks.

I have become so tired. I look at the last year and how it crashed and burned. The loss of peace of mind. Of my people now gone. Of my home. Of Lazy and Molly. Of the feeling of well being. Of how this year has started as last year left off. I have always been an optimist but feel as I'm even begining to lose that. I have begun to feel that not a whole lot matters any more. I need some good things to happen to stop this tailspin my outlook is in. And I have no idea how to make it happen. I don't like this. I have never felt like this. Best friends come in many forms. Some with 2 legs, some with 4. I am at the vets with my 4 legged best friend, Trouble. Skin rash. When my wife passed 11 yrs ago I considered myself alone. Last April my home burnt down & I lost Lazy and Molly in the fire. Devastaing. For over 2 months I found out what really being alone was all about. Without them greeting me, listening to me, laying beside me. I now knew what being alone really is. It was then I got Trouble. And I am not alone anymore. He is a damned good dog...TRUTH

I stood on that beach the day before last deep in thought as the waves rolled in. I was remembering all those I love that have passed before me. As I did. I never dreamed that within 12 hours I would receive a telephone call at 3 in the morning from the Chaplin of Tampa General Hospital informing me that one of my closest friends. my wife's best friend, had been in a head on accident and was in surgery. That she was in critical condition. And I could only shudder, bow my head in sorrow, cry and get ready to head to the hospital. So I ask all that I know to pray for my friend Jean. I don't want to lose her too. I just can't lose her too.

In the 11 yrs since my loss I think back to all the people I call brothers & sisters. In FL & IN. There are so very many. I am blessed to have so many. And I have noticed how many have left to travel with the Lord. I am happy that they are with him. But my Human mind, my Human heart, my Human spirit cries out in pain and loss of those who have gone. And I bow my head in sorrow for I am about to lose a couple more. And I hurt. I cry. And I remember HER. For HER loss was the one that shook me to my very core. I remember, Always.

She is struggling, has been for months. None of the problems that she has had that she is working to solve, that cause her such stress frustration, irritation and down right anger seems to ever let up, let alone be solved. It brings on the terrible, splitting headaches and high blood pressure. AND the blackouts that seem to come more often. She KNOWS that she can' keep this up. The second is that my wife passed at age 49, in 2004 and I came face to face with the Grim Reaper, Death. Since then I have had over 30 of my people pass. Half younger than I. Half by cancer. The young man looked at me & said, ok I understand about the actions and words but why would she just ignore me and not talk to me. I said it could be 1 of a few things. She can't justify the break up, she didn't really love you in the first place, maybe she was just using you & got out while the getting was good, maybe everything she said to you was a lie & she couldn't look you in the eye. As I stood on the sidewalk a young man I knew was walking by & was very upset. when I asked he said his girl had broke with him & he couldn't figure it since she told him she loved him. I asked a few things, was it him always giving, was it him that always thought of her, did she ever just do something for him for no reason. As he answered these he seemed to realize it was always him that gave or went out of his way and he asked about that. All I could do was look him in the eye & say, Son, words are meaningless unless they come with actions to prove them. Remember that when it comes to love, actions are many times more important than the words themselves. Never forget that. If you don't you may not get hurt.

I walked in the woods with a friend when she found 3 things that looked like closed ugly matchbooks. She set 2 on fire and was going to do the 3rd when I stopped her. I said you don't destroy a thing just because you see only one thing. Give it a week and you will know. In a week the matchbooks had changed to catapiller then to a butterfly. She said beautiful. I said there are 2 that will never be because you thought them one thing and didn't read between the lines. Now they are dead. Never assume. It's the ass out of u and me thing. Now something wonderful is dead and gone. A real shame. For the butterfly. And for us.

He walked the road where his people live. His mind on things dear to him. He looked up saw them . This can't be. They can't know each other? He turned to speak and they walked past him, didn't smile or even glance at him. They ignored him or didn't know him anymore. He rememberd the dreams and realized that somehow he was stuck in a dream of a dream he could not escape. He shuddered with grief as he realized he still had no answer. Hope was beging to fade and he still had no answer.

He walked down the path as the drizzle fell around him. Behind him he heard the others but it didn't register in his thoughts. He was remembering times past. As far in the past as 20 years and the one who would walk with him. He was remembering as close as a year ago and that one who walked with him. He thought of the love he had for both, the 1st being the love of his life and how he held her as she passed. He thought of the second and what could be if things were to work out differently than they so far had for he loved her deeply as well. Even after 11 years you remember the loss and look back at the 2 or 3 others tho not to death. You ask "Is Love worth this pain, are you better off alone". Then she steps into your life, Your heart opens to her. Will she take care of it. Protect it. Love it. You hope. Again you open yourself to Love. You ask yourself, is she the one? You hope.
