I see everything just a little differently now. In my solitude I feel like I'm taking the world back into myself, letting it feed my pulse, becoming whole once more through everything around me.

My peers are celebrating the acceptance of gay marriage in the US. Perhaps I'm cynical, but I don't feel like joining in the happiness. All I feel is envy. We don't even have divorce in my country. Gay marriage is 100 years into our future, if at all.
