Someone asked me how I got over my depression today.

I simply told her "I realized that people are shitty, and that I didn't have to care about shitty people's opinions." Then I realized that everybody was looking at me because I was "yelling" again.

When I am upset.

I shut myself down. I have no motivation for anything.
I tell myself that nobody cares, even though I know some do.

I give myself all the pain, thinking I deserve it.
I'm not sure why I do that, but that's just how I am.
