I am beholden, to my deceased sister's children's wellbeing, as I am, to my own, and my other nieces and nephews. Even if my sister hated me. Or they tried to destroy me. Or if I failed to, at any time, before. I love them both, and want them to be as safe and happy and healthy as can be.

You cannot have a "merit based immigration system" that provides no training, and also wants to pay slave wages to people with skills, that will not sustain the cost of living.

None of these things justify letting someone starve or denying them asylum, if needed.

Being in therapy is a useful tool against tools, online psychiatrists, and their inaccurate labels and diagnoses. I highly recommend it, if you can bring yourself there.
It is a small comfort, but, a comfort, nonetheless. I'm grateful for it.
