Kindness can decrease blood pressure and cortisol, a stress hormone, which directly impacts stress levels. It is literally a human medicine. There is evidence that kindness toward others can somewhat help people experiencing mental health conditions.
I find this a therapy:
Give some money, even if it is $1, every month to some charity if you don't already, whether you are religious, non-religious or atheist. For me, this has a psychological impact. It gives you a sense of fulfillment to know that you have made an impact on someone's life, whether it be a small one.
