It is arrogant to assume that some forms of learning are superior to others, or that some lessons are for lesser beings.
You are never above learning any lesson. If you were, you would not be in the human form; you would be in that other form, learning those lessons.
That arrogance is how you defend yourself from your fear that actually, those lessons are the ones too hard for you.
