THE MILK OF PARADISE

He had drunk.True,the dose was higher than his usual intake.But right now his mind was buzzing,too many words criss-crossing.

Taking out a blank page,he got hold of the pen and the ink began to flow just like the words in his brain.

An hour later,exhausted suddenly,he
felt he could go no further.

I stood there numb unable to grasp what had come to pass.I never would have thought of weeping but here I was on
the last day on campus and you

I started a new book but couldn't go on.I opened another one and my interest flagged after the first
four pages.

I decided to take a break then went back to hefty academic reading.I forgot what I found.I forgot what
I had discovered.I forgot what
I had known so well.

But what I couldn't forget was you,even though I had known
you only for a few weeks.
