Going through life like everyone else, then you notice that everywhere you look everyone is with someone. You look next to you and notice you have no one.

You realize, you're alone in a world where everybody has somebody.

And we wonder why those with high-functioning autism have the highest suicide rates.

A True Friend:

A person that will stick with you even when you've lost yourself. A person whom you share interests with, and want to be around. A person who doesn't so much mind the crappy side of you because they know the good side is worth being around for. A person who will rush to your side if you wind up being by yourself. A person who makes the bad thoughts and feelings you have go away just by being with you.

If you have one of these, consider yourself lucky. Never let them go. Never let them down.
