I use to bake quite a bit at this time of year. My brother lived in Texas. I tried to send him a different cookie every year. One year I found one called Mordavian Molasses Cookies. The recipé said to roll it to an 1/8th inch. The dough was so sticky that I decided to drop them instead. Then with the bottom of a glass flattened them. The cookies spread while baking. It took all of three minutes to cook them.
They were extremely thin, but the flavor was great. While talking to my brother, he commented about the cookie. Then he told me he was going through the crumbs. I knew I had a winner. When I found out it was behind his wife's back?

I never had a need for a toaster or a toaster oven until my mom and my son decided to visit. I guess they missed that toasting or grilling causes cancer big time
