we welcome the contributions of the geniuses among us but we also tolerate the presence of the mentally challenged -- yet everybody has to play by the moral rules of the averge person. not because they are smarter or dumber or are born trailing more beautiful clouds of glory, but simply because of the Bell curve, because they are greater in number: quite literally, the dictatorship of the mediocre.
