Edward Colston was a leading figure in the transportation of 84 000* Africans, including children as slaves. 19 000* died on the journey. His statue was thrown into the harbour
yesterday. For those saying this is erasing history, let's
open up a museum on the horrors of colonialism and how this country was built.
