Do never tell someone to 'die off' as a joke.
You don't know how that person will react. Maybe that person will just laugh and ignore your comment or another person could think about your comment 'Why did he say that to me? What have I done to him?', others may think ' That idea would be a solution to my problems'.
What I'm trying to say is ' Never say something without thinking!!! Everyone is different. Everyone has his or her own story. And not everyone talks about his problems with you. Keep that in your mind before you talk and say something mean.'
