Dear motorist,
Thank you for waving me through the four way stop. However, you were there first so technically it's your turn. Second, I've already stopped (oh, yeah--I'm riding a bike) which means:
a) my foot is already down
b) all my momentum is gone
c) it's still your turn first, so please, please go.
