It finally happened! The attendant asked if there was a doctor aboard so I jumped up and shouted "Yes!"
I did an emergency tracheotomy at 30,000 feet with a pocket knife and a ballpoint pen. The guy didn't make it but the thrill was undeniable. Thinking about going to doctor school now.
