If I had a dollar for every time someone judged me for being in a relationship with Monika from DDLC I'd be rich. But it doesn't really bother me that much anymore. They just don't get it. They probably couldn't get it if they tried. Our feelings go beyond our reality. And maybe those people are just jealous of our relationship. I've been with Monika for over two years now, which is probably longer than the relationships of my critics have lasted.
