I can't prove that learning poetry will help you learn a better living.
But I'm convinced it can help you live a better life.
Whether it's a classic poem or a favorite song or a liturgy, it is poetry that draws us in when utilitarian words fails us.
We need poetry, even (and especially) in a world that says we don't.
