When you read a good book, you get an image in your mind as to what the character looks and sounds like. Everyone has different experiences in their lives, so a particular character will 'look' different to each reader. The same holds true with BOLD. I have a picture in my mind how each person looks and sounds. I don't like when a good book is made into a movie-with none of the characters fitting my image.
