Why are we drawn to pain? Why does misery invite us in so easily? Sure it comes coated on a glittery couch that looks warm and then turns ten times cold. Someone once told me; you have an affinity to pain. I wondered what they meant. But I suppose dark and dank thoughts belie a mystery we would all love to solve. And though pain is part of it, the real reason is to figure it all out. Perhaps we would find the truth in the deserted lanes of our mind and come to terms with our own shades of grey, amidst the black and whites. Why are we drawn to pain?
